Achievement Academy Summer Day Camp Information

Starts: June 12, 2017– Ends: August 18, 2017

Children served: Kindergarten through 5th Grade

  • Locations:
    • Jane Boyd Community House/Johnson
      • Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
        • Limited transportation to/from Johnson provided
    • Cedar Valley/Hawthorne Hills
      • Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-3pm (ends 8/11/17 for building maintenance)
  • Breakfast & lunch served daily at no additional cost
  • Classroom/Academic Enrichments in morning, social/recreational activities & field trips in afternoon
  • Swimming, most field trips, and other community activities included in price

Achievement Academy Enrollment Process

  • Applications
    • Available online and/or hard copy at all locations starting in mid-March
    • All potential enrollees must complete and turn in to coordinator at desired location
    • Coordinators will follow priority enrollment listed below
  • Priority enrollment
    • 1st– kids currently enrolled in AA (mid-March through mid-April)
    • 2nd– kids currently enrolled in Four Oaks programs (mid-April through early May)
    • 3rd– open to public; first come, first serve (typically waitlist started)
  • Parent Orientation
    • Must attend one of the orientation sessions – Dates/times will be provided at a later date
    • Payment is expected and payment plans must be adhered to or kids’ spots will be given to waitlisted kids
