Jane Boyd is celebrating 100 years of service in the Cedar Rapids community this year. To celebrate this momentous anniversary, we've kicked off a $100,000 campaign.
The Alliant Energy Foundation, a long-standing partner and supporter of Jane Boyd, signed on as the campaign leader with a $25,000 donation.
“For 100 years, Jane Boyd has provided essential services to our community supporting the success of children and families,” said Leah Rodenberg, Senior Community Affairs Program Manager at Alliant Energy. “This campaign ensures those services continue for another 100 years. Alliant Energy is happy to support Jane Boyd in this way.”
Throughout the past 100 years, Jane Boyd has offered many iterations of services to meet the changing needs of the Cedar Rapids community. Today, our programming includes the Achievement Academy, which provides summer and after-school programming to children living in the Cedar Rapids Community School District, PATHS, a 6-week career development and job skills training program for young adults, and Empower, a free social impact program funded by GoDaddy that focuses on developing and supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Cedar Rapids area.
“We are excited to celebrate so many years of service in the Cedar Rapids community this year and look forward to partnering with Alliant Energy on this campaign,” Megan Isenberg, Director of Jane Boyd, said.
Our mission is to enhance the academic, emotional and social wellbeing of children and families in our diverse community with programs focused on developing successful and productive adults.
